The subject is Juan Manuel Fangio at the wheel of the Mercedes Benz during the 1955 Monaco Grand Prix. Fangio is regarded as the greatest driver of all time, having won the Formula One Drivers Championship no less than five times. This incredible legend did not retire until the age of 47.
Only 74 copies of this edition of 750 prints were signed by Juan Manuel Fangio himself. It is believed this was the last edition of anything that he signed before his death in 1994.
