The subject is of Nelson Piquet at the wheel of the Williams Honda during the 1987 season. Piquet is regarded as one of Formula One’s most charismatic legends and took the Formula One World Championship on three occasions in 1982, 1983 and 1987. The first two championships Piquet won with the Brabham team which was then owned by Bernie Ecclestone.
